Apparently you still have to feed your partner (or at least yourself) when you have a baby. Like, daily. Who the hell has time for that? I’ve had a long term love affair with my slow cooker; it started in college and has only gotten more serious since then. I love being able to throw a bunch of stuff in, turn it on and come back 4-8 hours later to a perfectly cooked meal. If you think slow cookers are for your grandma, well then I wanna hang with her. Try this, trust me. Some of my husband’s favorite meals are ones I make in the slow cooker. Actually I’m fairly certain he loves me more because of it. I save even more time by buying pre-cut onions and veggies. I also make slow cooker meals and freeze big batches when I have extra time, so that I can just defrost and serve when time is even tighter.
So, things we learned today:
Slow cookers are bomb.
Your grandma is ahead of the curve.
You have to eat daily.
