I don’t know about you, but I only have two hands, and it’s a bummer. Every parent knows that two hands just aren’t enough. When JJ was small I found myself in tears on more than one occasion because I was alone and needed a hand desperately. So I started wearing my baby carrier, in the house and often. I kissed a few carrier frogs to find my prince but it was worth it; I’d surgically attach the Baby K’tan if I could! When JJ was tiny he would face in and just sleep while I did whatever household chores I had to do. When he got bigger I faced him out and he loved the different perspective and new stimulation. I wear it around the house, to grocery shop, hike, fly, you name it! Thank you baby carriers for giving me back the use of my hands! I highly recommend finding a carrier that you love. I really like the Baby Bjorn and Solly Wrap too.
